The Future of Patient Care Is Now

Weill Cornell Medicine Clinical Genomics Laboratory staff utilize the world’s most advanced gene-sequencing technologies to identify the genetic alterations that give rise to and drive each patient’s illness. We identify specific genetic alterations in cancer cells that enable clinicians to employ revolutionary, biologically-targeted therapies to treat their patients.

Harnessing Genomic Science for Patient Care

Genomic testing is a way to examine tumors and the genes that might be altered in each patient's specific tumor, to learn more about the tumor and its mechanisms of resistance. We use it every day in common practice because it gives us more information and allows us to offer a personalized approach for patients.
