Abstract | In this issue of Molecular Cell, Rodriguez-Meira et al. (2019) present TARGET-seq, an elegant single-cell method that genotypes somatic mutations and captures whole transcriptomes in the same tumor cells, thus paving the way to directly link somatic mutations with resulting transcriptional phenotypes in clonally diverse cancer populations. |
